Oh, you're right. What I was wondering about was an option to pre-set that so that it's locked and does not present the choice fork (Error-proofing).
**Side note, Im going to check my version, because I do see that stick thread is there and I don't have that in my offerings.
Or any forum you set it to. Good for closing things out and 'archiving'.
Stick is good for escalations in a support forum because you can set it to stick the thread in the same forum so admins can get anything they need as top of the thread list.
I long for move thread and stick functions.
We have a member support area, and including the stick thread function would be great for our tag admin / escalate flow. :)
One of my team members brought up the following (XF V2.216):
When adding a macro to a reply that has a quoted text, the macro inserts itself either to the top left, above any text (the expected behaviour would be below), or with in the inline quote.

I wanted to suggest splitting the difference here where the move modal is included in the macro options, but the macro author can choose if the destination forum is open to define by the macro user, or if it's locked by the author.
