Hello! Why does the service shorten long meta descriptions? Because of this, search engines cannot read the full meta description. Is there any way to remove this?

This is how it works, in all cases the search engine will truncate your description, so you need to put a short description of your thread. Google will accept between 135 and 155 characters, including spaces.

What's more, XenForo truncates the message at the same size, thus following SEO recommendations.

Yes, let the search engine cut them down. But why is it done so that the plugin cuts them down. There are other search engines that can read up to 300 characters in a meta description, such as Yandex.

If we look at wordpress seo plugins, then no plugin itself cuts the meta description there.
