Solved "Expand macros in macro list by default" option always shown in account prefs

Hi team,

We have actually activated the post macros only for mods and admins, but the option "Expand macros in macro list by default" is also displayed in the settings of all other user accounts:


It makes no difference whether you select "no" or "never" for the user groups, it is always displayed.


Our users are now a little confused because they don't know what is meant by macros

If so, I'm really sorry, but this version is not XF2.2 compatible, and it should be blocked during installation, I'm really sorry!

Does it give you an error message in the CP addon list?

Yes, I am. I checked the Updates page [Liam W.] Post Macros - Xen-Soluce - Add-ons & Services - Updates prior to installing it and I only saw "This version of the add-on is now compatible with the version 2.3.0+ of XenForo". It doesn't say it requires 2.3+.

Is the update Update 5.3.0 Fix 1 bug in the Update 5.2.2 Fix 8 version? I'm assuming I need to download the Update 5.2.2 Fix 8 and install it?

I don't need to uninstall the addon first do I? Because if I uninstall it, I'll lose all the data and settings associated with it right?

I have lots of addons, so it will be hard to remember which ones I should not update. I generally check for "requires XF2.3" on the updates page.

Normally there is a version check during installation, but there was a little mix-up on my part, I'm sorry.

As for the phrase “compatible only with XF2.3”, you'll have to ask SyTry why he didn't put that in, because he's the one who posted all the XF2.3 updates.
